Time flew so fast and I can't believe that June, my birth month has already ended. Oh well, I won't make a fuss about it so let us all welcome the month of July. "YAY!" Speaking of July, the rainy season has arrived in the Philippines and it usually starts from June. I like the rain since they make me feel calm and cold but the downside is, I'm stuck at home since I hate getting wet. "Do you like the rain too?"
Moving on, body scrubs and body washes has always been my favorite part whenever I take a bath. Some may say that its weird but I just love how they made my skin fragrant, fresh and soft. If you have read my recent posts, you'll know how much I love them. Today's review will be another product from W.Lab and it's their Milk Bubble Body Scrub.

Direction for Use: Wet the body and apply the body scrub. Rub it on your palms to create lather and gently massage it on your body to remove impurities. You can also apply pressure (acupressure) to relieve fatigue. Use a shower foam/ball/towel to create richer foam.
Claims:
- Smoothens the skin texture
- Safe and mild ingredients for soft and healthy skin
- Fine grains for effective and soft scrub
- Removes old impurities and dirt left on your body skin
Surprisingly, it is my first time to use a 3-in-1 body scrub. According to W.lab, it is a multi-purpose product because it contains the following:
- Scrub - made from natural ingredients that gently remove dead skin cells and impurities from the skin
- Massage gel - relieves body stress
- Milk bubble - which contains milk extract that creates rich and fine milk bubble
If you look closely at the sample amount of body scrubs, it contains body gel, grains of scrub and brown flakes. To be honest, I thought the scrubs were gold glitters at first so I was really cracking up as soon as I saw it personally. "Seriously Zahra, why would a body scrub come with glitters? Lol"
The body scrub contains lemon extract, burdock extract, spirullina extract and acai berry extract that removes old impurities and dirt found on the skin. It also contains caffeine and coffee powder that helps smoothes dull and rough skin. That explains why there were dark flakes found on the scrubs so I guess it was either the caffeine or coffee powder.
As for the scent, it has a combination smell of citrus and berries. The scent is not overpowering and it goes away after a few minutes.
It feels kinda off to apply gel all over my body but once it dissolves and lather forms, it makes me feel like I'm using a regular milk body scrub. At first, it only produces little amount of suds but once you rub it on your palm and skin, it will lather more. Just a tip, use your shower foam or loofah to create richer suds.
In case you're wondering, the suds doesn't dry you skin since its real milk foam! You don't need to apply your everyday body lotion/s since it comes with milk protein powder extract that hydrates, moisturizes and makes skin supple.
On my lazy days, I don't usually use my loofa and just stick with rubbing the body scrub on my skin. The grains are very gentle on the skin and there were no signs of irritations seen.
Overall thoughts, I had a great experience on using the W.Lab Milk bubble body scrub. Good thing it comes with a transparent packaging so I'll be able to see the amount of product left. The flip cap makes it easy to get the product out.
My skin is usually dry so I always use my lotion to moisturize them but with this milk bubble scrub, I can skip applying my lotion. "No more dead skin!"
True to its claim, the milk foam makes my skin soft and smooth and it reminds me of my Olay Rosy and Milky White body wash. The natural granules found on the scrub didn't irritate my skin but it made my skin fresh, glowing, smooth and supple. What's more, it's a 3-in-product that scrubs off dead skin and impurities, relieves body stress thru the massage gel and lastly, its milk bubbles makes skin smooth and supple.
Definitely adding this on my skincare favorites!
