DERMATIX ULTRA Advanced Scar Formula

Posted on July 30, 2017 by Unknown
I remember sharing on a recent blog post my childhood playtime stories and if you have read that, you'll know the reason why I have plenty of scars on my legs. But if you haven't read it yet, then click HERE. Despite the happy times on my childhood days, there's nothing pretty to look at if you have scars on your legs. I really get conscious when I wear a dress, shorts, skirt or any clothing that may expose my childhood scars. "How I wish that my scars will eventually fade over time."

I recently received the Dermatix Ultra Advanced Scar Formula in the mail which is proven effective in the management of scars. Luckily, before I got this product, I got a minor scratch near my elbow so I decided to test the product out. If you want to know more about my experience, then continue reading below. *winks*

Net Weight: 7g / 15g
Price: ₱730.00 / ₱990.00
Availability: Leading Drugstores, Lazada, Sample Room (free samples)
Dermatix Ultra is an advanced scar formula that is proven effective in the management of scars. It has innovative CPX (cyclopentasiloxane) technology for improved effects in flattening and softening scars. It contains a unique ingredient of Vitamin C ester which gives the benefit of photoprotection and skin lightening. Its high grade of skin conditioning agent heals your scar without the greasy tacky feel upon application. It leaves a soft, silky and clean feel when applied to the skin.
 When to use Dermatix Ultra?
  • It must be only applied on dry, intact skin. If you have a scar from surgery, ensure that the wound has healed first before applying it. This is typically 10-14 days after surgery.
  • Clean area with mild soap and water. Pat dry after cleansing.
  • Place a small pea size amount at the tip of the scar and gently spread thinly over the whole affected area. A small pea size is sufficient to cover a 6-inch scar.
  • Allow to dry for about 1-2 minutes. Once dry, it can now be covered with cosmetics or sunscreen. Applying too much does not increase its efficacy so don't over use.
Table 1
How long should I use Dermatix Ultra? How fast will I see improvements?
Initial improvement maybe observed after 12 weeks of continued used. For major or bigger scars, it may take 3 to 6 months or more to experience the full benefits.

When should Dermatix Ultra not be used?
It should not be applied to open or wet wounds. It should not be placed in contact with mucous membranes or applied too close to the eyes. It also should not be applied over other skin treatments without the advice of your doctor.

NOTE: The above information was taken from a product information leaflet. Please consult your pharmacist or physician immediately if any side effect occurs.

I actually didn't expect that the product would be this small but as I read the leaflet, a pea size amount will do to apply on the scar. It comes with a pointed tip which makes it easier to apply the product on the affected area.

You need to squeeze the tube to let the product out and it contains 7g of Dermatix Ultra gel which will last for at least one month on a six inch scar.

✿ DERMATIX ULTRA IN ACTION ✿

Last week, a sharp metal object grazed my arm while I was walking home. It was really painful that it made the area of my scar a bit swollen. "Just me being clumsy. Lol" Luckily, I have my Dermatix Ultra gel on my stash so I decided to use the product. Even though my wound is small, I don't want turning into a scar.

By the way bloomers, if you've seen the table above, I can apply the product right away since it's only a minor scratch. 😉 I use the Dermatix Ultra for 1 week and I noticed that my scar began to heal the next day and take note that it was my first application. The wound has flattened and to my surprise, that reddish wound on my arm turned brown. 😮 I guess that it worked instantly since my wound is neither big nor deep.

On the 4th day, my wound dried up and it became smaller compare to the first day I have it on my arm. On the 7th day, the hard skin from the wound began to peel off but it left a small faded mark on the arm. Good thing that my scar didn't darken so I will still continue to use it for couple of days or week to lighten up the faded scar.

Overall thoughts, I had fun fading my scar since it has been my biggest insecurity on my body. I cannot say that it will work on a major scar since I don't have any of those but, I can assure you that it can fade minor scars just like mine. I am currently using this on my nephew who have few mosquito bites on his legs so I will let you guys know the result.

And that is the end of my post and I hope you enjoyed reading my full thoughts on the Dermatix Ultra Advanced Scar Formula. If you are interested on trying out samples, you can avail it from www.sampleroom.ph

LIFE UPDATE | Achievement + New Beginnings and Goodbyes

Posted on July 30, 2017 by Unknown
Hey there loves! Today's post is going to be a little bit different but don't worry since I thought about it a lot of times before sharing it here. I rarely post my life events here but it wouldn't hurt if you lessen the burdens you are carrying.

Yesterday, we finally reached 200,000 views on the blog. 😊❤️ I am awed and happy from reaching another milestone. A massive thanks to all the people who have supported and watched my blogging journey. *throws confetti* 🙌🎉

Recently, I was feeling down due to a negative bond I have with someone I used to know. It took me countless nights to go every detail and always end up with me, being the first one to do the move. "Asan yung effort niya?" 🤕 So I asked myself, why would you initiate contact with a person who does not value the moments you had together? It’s sad that I have to distance myself, close the chapter and start a new one. Funny how all those years of your life that you wasted was not valued by that person and all of it will eventually fade.💔

Moving on, I’ve been keeping this to myself for about 2 months which made my days and nights super stressful. Tbh, my thoughts are always flying due to this. (until now) I might be out of the country this August but no exact date yet since I am still working my papers. Who knows how long will I stay there. I’m hoping that I can still enjoy the remaining weeks I have here. (hopefully it will be move) 🙏 It has always been my mom and nephew at home so definitely I will cry hard if ever I bid farewell to them. 😭 As much as I wanted to go, it's hard to let go.

Starting today, appreciate what makes you happy and remember that good things are coming!

MY SHOPPING HAUL FROM MINISO

Posted on July 22, 2017 by Unknown
YAY!!!!! It's been awhile since I did a haul on my blog and I am excited to share with you lovelies the stuffs that I got from Miniso. I already posted it on my youtube channel a few weeks ago since editing a video is quiet easy compare to taking pictures and make a post for my blog. "Well, that's just me so maybe others find blogging easier than doing a vlog. Hehe"

I believe that you have already heard of them since they've already opened plenty of branches across the globe. And since I am living at the Philippines, I will share with you the items that I got from Miniso Philippines. If you came across my videos, you probably know them already since I featured them on my vlogs. Anyways, enough with my non-stop chatter and let us proceed with my haul.

My mom and I love shopping so we were both surprised that Miniso has a branch at SM Cubao. I was really excited to browse all their products and it was full of beauty and cute items that I like. "I could stay for hours here. Haha" It's one of the nearest branches at my place so it wouldn't hurt a bit if I always visit their store.

If you are interested on watching my Miniso Haul video, I will leave the link below.

✿ MY SHOPPING HAUL ✿

Miniso Cap - ₱199.00

I went and had a vacation at Baguio a few months ago and it came in handy especially when I'm walking under the sun and when the rain starts pouring. Luckily, the panel of the cap is made from a silk material and the navy blue shade makes the dirt less visible. On the other hand, the bill of the cap is made in pink cotton material which complements the cap more. I didn't expect that the combination of these two colors on the cap will suit me. I just had to be careful on handling my cap since dirt is quite visible on pink.

Miniso Peach Foot Cover with bear (2 pairs) - ₱99.00

This is is one of the cutest socks that I saw from their store. "Ahhh the bear is too cute to resist!" I love pastel colors so the bear and peach color of the sock attracted me to buy it. It's not your ordinary foot ocover since the materials is quite same with your everyday socks. I already tried using it for a day and they were very soft and comfortable to wear.

Miniso Gray Foot Cover (3 pairs) - ₱99.00

I've been wearing foot socks ever since I went to college and they were kinda my thing when I don't prefer wearing my thick socks. They are perfectly good to wear on times when you're wearing your favorite flat shoes; however, it can be infuriating when they keep on sliding off. "All my foot socks kept on sliding on my foot. Grrr... Story of my life. Haha" Do you hate it too?

Miniso 100 piece Painting Puzzle - ₱99.00

I remember when I used to play a puzzle game online and it would take me for hours just to put the pieces together since I'm playing a 500 piece puzzle game. I just find it relaxing and fun so when I saw this 100 piece puzzle from Miniso, I immediately added it inside my cart. The image looks like a painting and somehow, I am attracted to the colors from this puzzle. To add on, I am quite mesmerized when I browse aurora light pictures on my Instagram (#auroralights) so it's also one of the reasons why I bought it. "I'm also playing it with my nephew."

Miniso Hair Turban - ₱99.00

A hair turban which I will be using when I do my makeup and skincare routine. It will be a great help to prevent unnecessary hair flying off my face. "And of course, it's in pastel so why not take one home. Hehe"

Miniso Eyelash Curler - ₱99.00

My old eyelash curler gave up on me so I was planning to get a cheap one for myself and saw this one from Miniso. I love how it lifts my eyelashes and do better than my previous one. It also comes with a spare rubber so definitely worth the purchase.

Miniso False Eyelashes - ₱99.00

This reminds me of the Taiwan false lashes which you could affordably buy at Divisoria for only ₱50. I was planning to get these falsies but never got the chance to go at Divisoria so I added these two on my cart. I got a thick one which I will be using when I attend parties and natural looking lashes for an everyday makeup look.

Miniso Face Brush - ₱99 - ₱149.00

I also bought a manual cleansing face brush which I will be using whenever I wear a heavy makeup. They offer electric cleansing facial brush but I stick with the manual brush since its way cheaper. The bristles are very soft but I don't feel like its cleaning my face enough compare to my previous facial brush.

Miniso Ring Bracket - ₱99.00

I hate it when my phone falls on the floor and that mini heart attack is terrifying especially when you're at the mall. Got 2 pairs for only ₱99; however, I still haven't attached it yet on my phone since my current phone case is bulky and it has a mini mirror at the back. I will still look for a smooth phone case that I will like so I can attach this phone bracket.

Miniso Kiddie Socks (2 pairs) - ₱99.00

I didn't expect that I can get 2 cool pairs of socks for a very affordable price for my nephew. They are very soft and thick too so it's definitely worth the purchase. I love my nephew so much so there's no way that I wouldn't get something for him.

And that is it for my haul from Miniso and I hope you enjoyed reading my post. You can see their branches HERE if you are interested on dropping by their store.

Have you ever visited Miniso? What are your latest buys? What are your favorite purchases from them? Any recommendations? Feel free to share them below ☺

MERBLISS Snow White Tiara Hand Cream

Posted on July 18, 2017 by Unknown
Hello there lovelies ♥ I can't believe that it's already the third week of July and it has been a productive month for me. "Congratulations to myself! Haha" Well, I have to take new photos again for my upcoming blog posts since I'm running out of ideas on what to post next. It's kinda hard for me since I take photos under natural lighting rather than using artificial lights so I really need to catch up with the sun. The weather has been cloudy and gloomy lately so I need to shoot everything fast to take wonderful images.

Today's post is all about a hand cream that I recently got from Charis which is the Merbliss Snow White Tiara Hand Cream. I don't usually use a hand cream but with its cute packaging that I fell in love with, I gave it a try. "I'm a sucker when it comes to cute stuffs!"

Net Weight: 50g
Price: $8.99
Availability: CHARIS
Variants: Diamond Ring Berry Mix, Wedding Day Rose Garden and Snow White Tiara

How to Use
  • Apply an appropriate amount on your hands and gently rub hands together in circular motion.
Claims
  • Soft, sweet and delicate baby powder fragrance
  • Shea butter that instantly hydrate your dry and chapped hands
  • Get super soft hands overnight by applying it generously
The variant that I got is the Snow White Tiara which main ingredients are shea butter which is good for soothing dry skin, pearl extract which gives you that instant youthful glow, rosemary extract that makes skin look firmer and elastic and lavender flower water that brightens and soothes skin redness. These are just few of the benefits found on the hand cream and I'm also excited to let my mom try this too since she has super dry skin on both of her hands.

The hand cream is placed inside a mint blue box with a wedding dress image on front. I really had no idea why it was called a wedding dress series product so I went to their website to check out a little bit of information regarding the brand.

According to Merbliss
MERBLISS is an abbreviation for "May Everyday Remain Bliss". They want to be there at times when we have moments from the sweetness of a short break, mind healing for a short voyage and a short time of our own. They believe that the happiest moment for a woman in her life would be on her wedding day. Even though the ceremony doesn't last long, those blissful moments during the course of preparation can't be describe in words. MERBLISS wants to be there to support and share happy moment by assisting it with our spirit and carefully chosen products. Just like the feeling of a woman looking at her wedding dress for the first time, she will feel the same when she sees our products for the first time in her life - luxurious and dazzling creation.
Who would have thought that I will fall head over heels with this hand cream and I love the fact that they made me feel happy and special. This is why I love Kbeauty products because they have the cutest packaging ever! Thumbs up for the great idea that Merbliss come up with and I'm looking forward on trying some of their products.

The hand cream comes in a plastic tube with an octagonal screw cap at the bottom. You need to squeeze the tube in order to get the product into your hands. I have a dry skin but not as dry and flaky like my mom's skin so a small amount will do.

I apply the hand cream onto the palm of my hands and gently massage it for a few minutes (4-5 minutes) until the product soak into my skin. My hands will then instantly feel moisturize and smooth without that greasy feeling. "Well you know me; I'm not a big fan on using products that makes my skin feel greasy." My skin looks much healthier than before and I'm thankful that I have found a product that will give love to my skin. My mom is a big fan on using hand creams and I'm happy that it was able to hydrate her dry and flaky skin.

The hand cream has a pleasant scent of flower and powder and as time passes by, the scent became more fragrant. The scent somehow reminds me of an old baby powder that I use on my childhood days.

Overall thoughts, I am happy that I have found a hand cream that will surely hydrate my dry skin. Hands down to this product for making my skin look healthier and smoother than before. I will definitely add this on my "kikay" (girly) kit and will add this too on my travel bag since my skin tends to be drier when traveling.

If there's one thing that they could improve on, I highly suggest that they should replace their screw cap. From time to time, the cap falls whenever I use the hand cream and it's kinda frustrating when it rolls under my sofa and table.

That's it for my full thoughts on the Merbliss Snow White Tiara hand cream and I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I will leave their links below if you are interested on trying this hand cream. I hope to see you again on my next post! Byeeee~ *waves hand*

Have you tried this hand cream yet? Do you love using hand creams? What are your favorites? Have you tried any products from Merbliss? Leave your thoughts on the comment below and I will be happy to read them ♥

PALMOLIVE NATURALS in Coco Cream & Milk Protein | Shampoo + Conditioner

Posted on July 14, 2017 by Unknown
You know how much I love dyeing my hair and I even shared it on my previous posts that it all started back when I was still on college. I've been using hair treatments ever since to make my hair moisturized, smooth and healthy. Back then, I was quite skeptical to try new shampoo and conditioner since bump appears every time I try a new hair care product so I always stick to one brand.

I was able to try the Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture shampoo and conditioner in Coco Cream and Milk Protein last year but I wasn't able to share my full thoughts due to pending posts that I need to publish at that time; resulting to confusion on what to publish next. I even neglected using my planner until now due to stressful thoughts that has been bugging me lately. That's the main reason why I'm not quite organize with my blog posts. But as far as I know, I remember how I loved the fruity scent of these two especially the mild coconut scent that still lingers on my nose since I'm a big fan of coconut scented products.

Net Weight: 180ml (both shampoo and conditioner)
Price: ₱96.50 (shampoo) ₱95.20 (conditioner)
Availability: Leading Supermarkets & Drugstores

How to Use
  1. Massage shampoo on wait hair to create a rich lather and rinse afterwards.
  2. After rinsing hair, apply the conditioner to nourish hair for long - lasting softness.
According to Palmolive
The Palmolive shampoo and conditioner combines its latest hair care science with the goodness of natural ingredients and gives effective products for your every hair need. Intensive Moisture's specialized formula with Coco Cream and Milk Protein extracts, instantly adds essential hydration to hair long lasting softness. Enjoy a wonderful and luscious fragrance that lasts throughout the day.
My hair lacks moisture due to frequent hair dyes and this variant will give the necessary hydration that my hair needs. Remember when I said awhile ago that I get bumps on my head whenever I try new hair products? Well, this duo didn't leave any sign of bumps on my head so I can finally say that my hair is hiyang to this variant. "If you're going to ask about the other variants, I cannot say that I'm good with them since I wasn't able to try them yet."

In terms of packaging, I did not experience any messy application upon using them since both of them have a flip top cap that seals the product nicely. When you close the product, you'll hear a clicking sound that satisfies your ears.

The shampoo has a sweet fruity scent to it that I like leaving my hair fresh, soft and fragrant. On the other hand, the conditioner has a mild scent of coconut that I so loveee and the sweet fragrance is so addicting. The shampoo has a touch of coconut scent too but the fruity smell is overpowering so some may not like it.

Throughout the day, my hair feels soft and smells sooo good that you would absolutely go crazy on touching and sniffing your hair. TIP: My hair tends to look dry and thick when I use the shampoo alone so I always dilute my shampoo by adding water to not fully strip my hair.

Overall, this duo made my hair fresh, soft and fragrant the whole day. I did mention that my hair is dry so I'm really thankful that my new found favorite, Palmolive Naturals in Coco Milk and Milk Protein, provided them the necessary love and moisture that my hair and scalp needs. Out of all the hair products that I've tried, Palmolive provides the best scent to their consumers. "Will definitely get these two again since Coconut is love. <3"

Try before you buy and grab free samples at www.sampleroom.ph.

What is your current shampoo and conditioner? Have you tried this two? What is/are your favorite variant? Have you tried diluting your shampoo? Share you thoughts on the comment below. ♥
