W.LAB W-Snow CC Cushion

Doing my makeup has always been a part of my daily life and it usually takes me for about an hour or 2 to get ready. That includes what foundation, concealer, lipstick, mascara, blush etc. I am going to use. "LOL" I always take my time doing my makeup to avoid any mistakes and re-doing them because we girls know that it can be pretty annoying and such. To do my makeup quick and easy, I always use my cushions to avoid applying concealer and foundation and blending them with a damp sponge. My cushion has saved me a lot of times and I am really thankful that I always have them on my drawers.

We are going to talk about W.Lab W-Snow CC Cushion and I've been using it for a few months now. I guess I can already share my full thoughts about it so without further ado, let's head over to my review. *winks*

All details found on the packaging of the cushion are written in Korean language so I don't think I'll be able to translate that. Since this cushion has only two shades, I got mine in Snow Light which is the lightest shade. I was having conflict with my thoughts whether to get the shade Snow Beige but in the end, my inner instinct told me to get the light shade.

The cushion is placed in a white packaging which I find very neat and nice to look at. However, I may have to be careful on handling my cushion since there is a high chance that dirt will be visible from the packaging.  I think it would look nice and elegant if it comes in black.  

And just like any other cushions, it comes with a free puff and mirror. Once you open the compact and turn over the lid, it is sealed with a sticker (which is not included on the pic since I removed it a few months ago) so you'll know that the product is new and to prevent the cushion to dry.

Before using the cushion, I did my brows and applied a bit of lip tint on my lips. As you can see on my before pic, redness can be seen on the sides of my nose, mini pimples on my forehead which are about to dry, dark acne scars on my chin and just a little bit of dark under eye circles. My only problem is the dark acne scars on my chin which can be easily seen by other people. 

To apply the cushion, I use the puff and lightly press it onto the foundation. Remember not to press the foundation too hard or it will cause spillage from the puff. "Just like mine. Hehe" I then spread the cushion onto my skin and dab it gently to blend and spread the foundation. Wait for it to set for a few minutes and it will give you that dewy and glowing finish. I felt a cooling sensation when I applied it on my skin.

The redness on my nose and dark under eye circles were covered by the cushion. You can't really tell whether it covered my dark under eye circles due to the shadow on my face but, it really did a great job on brightening them. However, I noticed that some of the cushion settled on the linings of my under eye so make sure to blend it well. The mini pimples on my forehead were covered too but the dark scars on my chin were only faded. I did try adding another layer from the cushion but it was still the same. If you want to cover them fully, use a concealer to hide those scars.



To prevent my skin from being oily, I set it with my Coty Airspun loose powder leaving my skin flawless and radiant. This made my skin smoother and I did not expect that my mom would compliment me after showing it to her. "Bwahaha Love you Mom!"

For our final test, we're going to see how long it will stay on my skin. I applied the cushion around 1:30 PM and went to my nephews' school. Take note that the weather is sunny so I expected that it will dissolve my makeup. Patchiness tends to appear below and top of my nose but there were no sign of them around. "Hooray!"

After going to the school, we went straight to the mall and saw that my makeup is still intact. I am now waiting for the oil to show up on my nose so I always grab my mirror to check on them and from around 5:00 PM, oil began to appear on my nose. Not quite the oil that I imagined to see but it looks like I applied a bit of highlighter on top of my nose.

At 6:00 PM, my skin began to look dewy and I love how it made my skin look more fresh and natural. I didn't re-touch my face with any powder and upon reaching home at 8:40 PM; my t-zone area looks oily. Wearing the cushion for almost 8 hours doesn't seem bad and take note that I did not re-touch them the whole day. *winks*

In case you want to re-touch your makeup, use an oil control sheet or tissue to pat away excess oil from your skin and do the rest of your makeup. Since my t-zone area appears to be oilier than the rest of my skin, I only use an oil blotting sheet and apply face powder.



Final thoughts, it made my makeup routine became easier and quicker. This cushion is good for any skin types giving your skin that luminous and youthful glow. It is very light on the skin and as time passes by, it will look more natural. It is buildable and has a great coverage but hiding darker imperfections won't work so you might have to add additional layers or use a concealer to cover them fully. It can last for a whole day if you apply a setting powder and there will only be light touch up needed throughout the day. It's a big nightmare to see your foundation to become patchy but this one didn't leave any signs of them. "Makeup enthusiast, like me, feels it too! Lol" It makes me want to get another spare just in case this cushion will run out soon.

During my childhood days, I remember how I love to play around with my brother together with the other kids on our neighborhood. Sleeping on the afternoon is not on our list so instead, we will just run around and play tag, stealing bases, knocking down the can, patintero (filipino game/s) and many more. The BB body cream is place inside a can with a plastic cover on top. It reminds me of my perfume spray that I love using when I was in high school. It is easy to use like your usual perfume spray and you don't have to worry if ever it falls down since the packaging is quite sturdy.

I shake the bottle before spraying it on my hands and a sample swatch can be seen from the pic. When I sprayed a little amount of the BB body cream spray on top of my hand, I was quite hesitant on using the product since it doesn't match my skin tone. But once the BB body cream is blended, it will even out your skin tone like there's no product sprayed onto the skin. 

Since it is a BB body cream, its scent is no different from other BB creams that I've tried before. "Just imagine your BB cream turning into a spray can." I am not a fan of the scent though... it's a bit overpowering on my own opinion but it goes away after a few minutes.

To test the product out, I sprayed it on my hands and legs and I was amazed on how it brightened my skin. It feels like I just applied makeup and if you look at my right leg, it seems like I'm wearing a stocking. I can't believe that my dark knees will brighten up in just a few minutes. "I was literally jumping with joy. Lol" 

As for covering blemishes and such, it can only blur darker imperfections so don't expect that it will conceal them. It somehow reminds me of the use of our BB creams and foundations where we make another round of application on areas where our imperfections are still visible. You can add additional layers if you want to but as I said awhile ago, they can only blur them. Well it still works fine to me since they are less visible than they use to be. *winks* 

Just a TIP bloomers, make sure that you blend the body cream on your skin so it will not look flaky. It sometimes settles on the hairs of my skin and it doesn't look good so make sure to blend it well.

Final thoughts, I can imagine myself using this product again especially on times when I need to wear clothes that exposes my dark knees. I do have scars on my legs but just a few years back then, I learned to accept and love them. "Reminds me my playful side when I was still little." 

When I'm using the spray, I feel like it acts like a concealer to hide our blemishes or any imperfections on our face. They both do the same thing to brighten and hide our imperfections. You can still see your imperfections but less visible than before. I love the fact that it made my legs looks flawless as if I'm wearing a stocking. It lasts the whole day for me unless you accidentally rub them off on your couch. "Just like me. Haha" It also has SPF 50 PA++++ so it will keep your skin protected under the harsh rays of the sun! I don't see any whitening effect as of now so I still have to watch out for that and update this post.

I remember the good old days when my brother and I used to play around at our neighbors compound together with the other kids until we tire out ourselves under the heat of the sun. My mom will usually call our names out loud because we look like wet birds and just the thought of that moment makes me feel petrified. The powder is placed inside a small cute container which is very neat to look at. I love how it comes with a round puff and sifter which will be very helpful on applying the powder onto the skin. I usually just use random soaps that are available in our stash so I think for the next week/month; I will add this on our grocery list. I already told my mom how much I love using it every time I took a bath and she already wanted to try this one. My love for body washes will never change because they make my skin fresh, fragrant and soft. It's funny how fast I ran to the shower as soon as I saw it and it has the same scent like the soap. "Well of course they are from the same variant." It produces less lather than the soap but it made my skin squeaky clean and moisturized. 

Its consistency is like of a lotion but a bit more diluted which you can easily spread on your body. It's funny how my mom told me that the scent traveled into our living room while I'm still in the shower. It made my skin soft and moisturized without the need to apply my everyday lotion. "Definitely a must have item for your shower routine!"

Overall thoughts, I definitely love using these two and will probably get them again. They made my skin fresh, soft and moisturize so I can skip on applying my lotion. They are affordable too so you can get them from the nearest market on your place. The only thing that made me feel disappointed is the scent doesn't last long on the skin. "It would be great if the fragrance of flower and milk will last long so I can sniff them all day. Haha"

In terms of whitening, don't expect that your skin will get brighter after a few uses. It takes time to whiten the skin unless you use a bleaching soap. I am comfortable with my skin color so I don't look much forward if it will whiten my skin so if you are looking forward to that, it takes time and dedication on how you will use it.
